COVID-19 Vaccination Booster Programme

The Collingham Medical Centre will be supporting the Booster (3rd dose) COVID Vaccine Campaign.    Now we have Joint Committee on Vaccination and Immunisation (JCVI) approval, we are getting ourselves ready to support the Newark & Collingham communities.

Eligible patients need a minimum of 6 months between their last COVID Vaccine and booster.   For our communities these will start to be due from mid-October.

Once we have confirmation of vaccine delivery, we will contact eligible patients to invite.   There is no need to contact us.

We aim to deliver a large part of this campaign at weekends in order not to disrupt your general practice services during the working week.

From 17 May, patients can access their COVID-19 vaccination status though the NHS App. Patients are being advised by Gov.uk that they do not need to contact their GP surgery about their COVID-19 vaccination status.

FREE Lateral Flow Test Devices are available from the Collingham Pharmacy - it is important to continue to test to protect you, your family and our community.  Follow national guidance to isolate on a positive test and attend a PCR testing Centre.

Lateral Flow Testing offers reassurance that you are not carrying the virus, even if symptom free.   If you have symptoms, please book PCR test and isolate.
